When you complete the free AI Quick Check, we store your answers and the resulting output (AI maturity score, industry comparison, recommendations), linked to a randomly generated audit ID. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of the service you requested) and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a functioning, traceable process).
At the end of the questionnaire we ask for your email address so we can send you your result and, for paid tiers, your full report and any scheduling links. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Paid tiers are processed via the payment provider Stripe. On the Stripe checkout page you may pay by credit card or PayPal; even if you choose PayPal, payment data is processed through Stripe. The data required for payment (including payment details) is transmitted directly to Stripe; we do not receive or store complete payment/card data ourselves. Stripe may also transfer data to the USA. For details, see Stripe's privacy policy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Before proceeding to payment for a paid report, we ask whether you are acting as a private individual/consumer or as a business/trader, and, for consumers, for your explicit consent to the early start of performance and your acknowledgement that this causes your right of withdrawal to expire early. We store this information together with the applicable version of the Terms and Conditions and Withdrawal Information, the timestamp, and your IP address, so that in case of a dispute we can prove the conclusion of the contract and the consent given. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligation to provide evidence) in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
At the end of the questionnaire you may optionally provide your salutation, first and last name, company, country, and phone number. This information is optional and not required to use the free AI Quick Check; where provided, we use it to better attribute and personally address you as part of delivering the result or report. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent through voluntary disclosure).
For the full, paid report, the answers you provided in the questionnaire are transmitted for automated analysis to the AI service provider Anthropic (USA), which generates the structured text content of the report. No contact data (e.g. your email address) is transmitted to Anthropic, only the substantive questionnaire answers and industry-related context. For details, see Anthropic's privacy policy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
For personal consulting/review appointments (Business tier and Enterprise initial consultation), we link to a booking page provided by Cal.com. The actual booking takes place on Cal.com's website; for details on what data is processed there, see Cal.com's privacy policy. We pre-fill your email address and audit ID into the booking link so the appointment can be matched to your audit.
This website and the delivery of system emails (result, reports, scheduling links) run on servers provided by IONOS (Germany). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable operation).
We use a technically necessary cookie (kip_audit) so that you can resume a started audit within 14 days, even after closing your browser, without having to start over. This cookie contains no plain-text contact data, serves no marketing or tracking purpose, and is used exclusively for this function. Since it is strictly necessary to provide the function you explicitly requested, no separate consent is required under § 25(2) no. 2 TTDSG.
When you access the website, our server/hosting systems automatically process technical access data (including IP address, timestamp, page accessed), as is technically necessary for the operation of any website. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (ensuring operational security and protection against misuse).
We store personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes described above, or for as long as we are subject to statutory retention obligations (e.g. under commercial or tax law for invoice data).
You have the right to access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16 GDPR), erasure (Art. 17 GDPR), restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR), data portability (Art. 20 GDPR), and to object to processing (Art. 21 GDPR). Please contact us at the email address above.
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. This is usually the authority of your habitual residence, or the authority responsible for us: the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information of Baden-Württemberg (Landesbeauftragter für den Datenschutz und die Informationsfreiheit Baden-Württemberg).
